I am responsible for initial layouts, preparing imagery for retouching, model casting, hard proofing sign-off, and digital promotional assets. I am involved in every aspect of the promotion of the collection across digital and print formats.
Preparing Photos for Retouching
I am part of the selects process from model casting to mocking up imagery to make sure each costume is shown at the best angle. I also mock up the imagery by collaging body parts together in order to ensure each photo not only looks the best it can but also that body parts are in the correct position for the proper dance form.
Hardproofing
I compare printed hard proofs to physical fabrics under a lightbox to ensure that we are accurately portraying our dance costumes to our customers. I provide notes for retouchers and sign off on final prints.
